Because it's the right thing to do!

This will be my 19th year participating in the Vancouver AIDS Walk, and I hope you will join me!  Please contribute what you can, as every contribution is worthy.

This year, the Vancouver Queer Film Festival ran several films that reminded us what life was like during the 1980s, in the midst of the AIDS crisis.  While those days have passed, HIV is still very much present, and people of all walks of life deal with it every day.  For some who are marginalized, those days are even more challenging, and that's where you come in.

All proceeds of the 2018 Vancouver AIDS WALK go directly to low income people living with HIV in BC through the Community Health Fund (CHF). The CHF is a fund accessed by low income people living with HIV in BC to assist in covering costs associated with living with HIV.

Living with HIV has changed, and the Vancouver AIDS WALK is changing too. This year’s WALK is going back to its roots, empowering people living with HIV and those who love and care for them and memorializing the ones we lost too soon.

Join me this year in raising money, raising awareness, and raising hope.
